I'm graduating. Wait-let me say that slowly, 'I.am.graduating.' I think it is beginning to sink in. Ok, so for the past few months I've pushed 'May 18th' to the edges of my mind. I've been focusing on school(Straight A's mofos), dealing with friends(sad to say- hasn't been exactly cake), and applying vigorously for jobs. As of...oh...an hour ago, I've begun to accept the fact that I'm about to leave college-and I'm pretty stoked.

I have nothing waiting for me at home(besides family)-no job, lover, large and beautiful pile of money. I don't really care. For the first time ever I have vast fields of time right in front of me. No longer is my life sectioned off into summer/fall/winter/spring, each coinciding with school...crap. That makes me happy. But what really makes me happy is all the fancy new things that will happen to me. Meeting new friends/watching old ones grow up. Enjoying the perks that come with adulthood. And, most importantly, enjoying a brand spankin' new me...well not new Katie, just old Katie with some fancy upgrades.

College has been...amazing. These past four years flew by in a glorious flash. It's been like a wonderful dream involving the most wonderful cast of characters. But...I need to wake up. I need to wake up from the un-reality that is college and fucking live.

I haven't properly updated in a long time. Last semester of college. It's all very bittersweet to me...mostly bitter. But I need to leave this place, it's entirely too closed off. Right now my mind is plagued with hundreds of emotions. I've been stabbed in the heart with a poisonous love arrow. As usual it's unrequited. I've been better about it since I've dumped it all onto every one of my close friends. I am so unsure about my future that I don't even care anymore. I actually don't have much to say anymore. Living life until further notice.

I didn't pass through the first round of JET. I'm pretty bummed and frustrated but life has to go on. I won't say anything more because anything will just be a worthless pity party. I do have other plans and I did have them before JET but for right now this is really lame.
